I have loved photography since I was a child. I looked on in awe and amazement when my grandpa took Polaroid pictures and we watched them develop before our eyes. The first camera I used was my mom’s Brownie camera and I was so excited when she let me take it to school one day in 3rd grade. Then there were the pocket cameras with the small easy load film cartridge. That was a huge advancement and a big deal at the time, but we’ve come a long way since then.

After shooting SLR film cameras for about 25 years I finally made the switch to Digital SLR in 2007. My switch to digital has stirred up a profound passion for photography that has taken me by surprise. Throughout my college photography courses and various photography jobs I “loved” photography but had no idea that I would end up with such a profound passion for Digital photography. A passion that sometimes just takes my breath away and I lose all sense of time.
